Description: A “podcast” is simply an episode that is broadcasted on digital media players and personal computers. Each episode file is distributed over the Internet and can be made up of audio and/or video and even text. Teachers and students can create podcasts to record lessons, share class projects and other special events. Subscribers to podcasts can enjoy these free episodes anytime and anywhere. There are thousands from which to choose. This workshop will discuss the necessary tools (GarageBand, PhotoBooth, and iMovie) needed to create a podcast and will share many examples of how to integrate them in the classroom. Students are tuned into this and you will be too!!! |
